Nathan Bader was born on November 30, 1986. And he died on June 20, 1968. Nathan Bader was a Jewish immigrant from Ukraine who worked as a furrier and was the father of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

 

Early life

Born to Jewish parents Ida and Samuel Bader in Proskuriv, which is now known as Khmelnytsky, Ukraine 
Emigrated to the United States from Russia at the age of 13 Worked as a furrier, though he never attended high school.


Family

Nathan Bader married to Celia (Amster) Bader, who was the daughter of Polish Jewish immigrants. And he had an older sister, Marilyn, who died from meningitis when Ruth was two.
